Moving a file from an Android phone to a Mac, or from an iPhone to a Windows PC, still often means emailing it to yourself or installing yet another app. Flingo does it from the browser: open the page on both devices and send.
SmilyLab designed and built Flingo as its own product. Files travel directly from one device to the other over WebRTC; they are never uploaded to a server.

Key features
Nearby devices
Devices on the same Wi-Fi discover each other automatically; files go over the local network.
Share by link
A link or QR code lets anyone download the files directly from the sender's device, from anywhere.
No installation
Works in the browser on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and Linux.
Private by design
End-to-end encrypted peer-to-peer transfers; files are never stored on a server.
Files and folders
Whole folders can be sent, with no file size limit.
Faster transfers
Compressible files are gzip-compressed on the fly during the transfer.
